About us

Duro Matla — strength you can count on.

Matla is the Sesotho word for strength — and strength is what a roller door, a yard ramp or a steel frame has to have.

Duro Matla is a South African company that manufactures, installs and repairs roller shutter doors, garage doors, loading-bay equipment and structural steel. The business is led by an owner with 33 years of experience in the industry — three decades of building, installing and repairing doors and steelwork for warehouses, factories, shops, farms and homes.

We build in our own workshop and work on site across the country.

Our promise is on our logo: Build Right, Repair Right, Every Time. That means measuring properly, using the right steel for the job, installing it square and true, and coming back when you need us.
