Roller doors that keep working, shift after shift
A loading-bay door gets opened hundreds of times a week, in wind, dust and rain. Duro Matla builds roller shutter doors for exactly that: galvanised steel curtains on properly sized barrel shafts, running in deep guides with wind locks where the opening needs them.
Every door is made to the opening — no forcing a catalogue size into a building. We have built and installed industrial roller doors more than 10 m wide, with barrel shafts over 10 m long, and we fabricate the structural steel frame to hang them in when a new opening is being formed.
Manual, chain-operated or motorised
Smaller doors run on springs and lift by hand. Larger industrial roller shutters use a reduction chain drive, or an electric operator with push-button or remote control. Ask us about battery backup so the bay keeps opening during load-shedding.

How much does a roller shutter door cost?
Price depends mainly on the width and height of the opening, the curtain gauge, whether it is manual or motorised, and the site location. Send us the size on WhatsApp for a written quote — there is no charge for quoting.
Do you supply and install roller shutter doors nationwide?
Yes. We deliver and install roller shutter doors in all nine provinces, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Gqeberha, Polokwane and Mbombela.
What is the largest roller door you can make?
We have built industrial roller doors more than 10 m wide with barrel shafts over 10 m long. Very large openings get a site measure and a door engineered to suit.
Can you motorise my existing roller door?
In most cases, yes. We check the curtain, shaft and springs first, then fit an operator sized to the door weight.
Are your roller doors galvanised?
Our standard curtains are galvanised steel. Powder-coated colours are available on request.
